Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ExCleaner ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") is developed and operated by Alpha Sunny Co., Ltd., a company registered in Bangkok, Thailand. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the ExCleaner mobile application.

By downloading or using ExCleaner, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

ExCleaner is designed with privacy as a core principle. Here is a complete overview of data handling:

3. On-Device Processing

All photo scanning, face detection, and face matching is performed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework and an on-device AI model (FaceNet). Specifically:

• No photos are uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any external server.
• No facial recognition data or biometric information is collected, stored, or shared.
• Face embeddings (mathematical representations of faces) are generated temporarily in memory during scanning and are discarded when the scan is complete.
• No internet connection is required for the core scanning and matching functionality.

4. Photo Library Access

ExCleaner requests access to your Photo Library through Apple's standard permission system. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings.

• Photos are accessed only when you actively initiate a scan.
• Deleted photos are moved to the "Recently Deleted" album in the iOS Photos app, where they can be recovered for up to 30 days.
• ExCleaner does not permanently delete photos — Apple's standard recovery mechanism applies.

5. Third-Party Services

ExCleaner integrates the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

Google AdMob (Free users only)

• Purpose: Display advertisements to free users.
• Data collected: Device advertising identifier, device information, and ad interaction data.
• Pro users do not see advertisements, and AdMob does not collect data from Pro users.
• Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Google provides the same or equivalent protection of user data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Apple StoreKit (All users)

• Purpose: Process In-App Purchases (ExCleaner Pro).
• Data collected: Managed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
• Apple's Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

ExCleaner does not integrate any additional analytics tools, tracking SDKs, or data brokers.

6. How We Use Information

• Photo Library access: Solely to scan and identify photos matching selected faces, and to delete photos at your request.
• App preferences: To save your settings, theme choice, deletion history, and purchase status locally on your device.
• Advertising (free users): To display relevant ads through Google AdMob.

We do not use your data for any purpose other than what is described above. We do not build user profiles, sell data, or use data for marketing purposes.

7. Data Storage and Retention

ExCleaner stores the following data locally on your device only:

• App preferences and settings (theme, language)
• Deletion history (date, photo count, name you assigned)
• Purchase status (Pro or Free)
• Daily ad watch count

This data is stored using iOS UserDefaults and local files. It is not transmitted to any server. All locally stored data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Revoke Photo Access: Go to your device Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → ExCleaner → select "None" to revoke access at any time.
• Opt Out of Personalized Ads: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalized Ads. You can also purchase ExCleaner Pro to remove all advertisements.
• Delete All App Data: Uninstall ExCleaner from your device. All locally stored data (preferences, history) will be permanently deleted.
• Recover Deleted Photos: Open the Photos app → Albums → Recently Deleted. Photos remain recoverable for up to 30 days.
• Request Information: Contact us at support@excleaner.com for any questions about your data.

9. Data Security

Since ExCleaner processes all data on-device and does not transmit personal data to external servers, the security of your data relies on your device's built-in security features, including:

• iOS device encryption
• Biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID)
• App sandboxing

10. Children's Privacy

ExCleaner is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

11. International Users

ExCleaner is available worldwide. Since all data processing occurs on your device, no personal data is transferred across international borders by us. Third-party services (Google AdMob) may process data according to their own policies and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR for EU users.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
